Read moreHarvey graduated from Glasgow Vet School in 1990. He spent eleven years in the Royal Army Veterinary Corps in regiments such as the Household Cavalry, before moving into general practice.
Jamie graduated from Glasgow Vet School in 1988 and first joined the practice in 1993. He left in 1995 to set up and run his own equine practice in Manchester. After a spell as a Veterinary Pathologist with the SAC in Perth and Edinburgh, he returned to the practice in 1999 and became a partner in 2002.
Originally from near Chicago in the US, Rebecca came to Scotland to study Veterinary Medicine in Glasgow and graduated in 2012. She spent the first 5 years after graduation working as a mixed animal vet in the Shetland Islands where she also had the opportunity to be closely involved in the business side of running the practice. She joined us in June 2017 as she has a passion for working with small animals especially in surgery, exotic animals (reptiles / birds/ rodents) and horses making Tay Valley Vets the perfect fit for her.
Camilla joined the practice in 2017, after spending 2 years at a mixed practice in Perthshire. She is a treating vet for the FEI, and is often the vet on duty at local endurance and horse trials events. Camilla also lectures vet nurses over video conferencing through the North Highland College. She is also a BHS Stage 3 qualified instructor, and regularly teaches freelance and assesses at Pony Club branches in her spare time. She recently passed the BHS Stage 5 care exam, and is currently training for the Ride Exam. Camilla competes her lovely horse, Harriet, in BS and BE, who she has a produced from a 4 year old.
Rachel graduated from Glasgow.in 2016 After spending 3 years working in Ireland she has recently moved to Perthshire and joined Tay Valley Vets as a full time vet working with both companion pets and horses.Rachel has 2 cats called Albus and Minerva and Severus the snake. Her interests lie in diagnostic imaging.
Katie joined the practice in February 2017. She graduated from the University of Glasgow in 2015. She enjoys spending her spare time with her horse Erin, miniature pincher Ruby and cat Merida. Her main veterinary interests are in equine and small animal surgery.
